KUALA LUMPUR (AFP) - Internet surfers from Malaysia’s fundamentalist Islamic state in Kelantan has topped the list of surfers who visited pornographic websites in the country, a newspaper has reported.

The Star daily’s Sunday paper cited research from Google Trends as saying that Internet surfers in the city of Kota Baru in northeastern Kelantan and the town of Kuantan in neighbouring Pahang had the highest number of porn surfers.

I grew up with loads of girls from strict Catholic familes and schools were the worst behaved purely because they were bought up so strictly and wanted to rebel! Boys always go for convent school girls if you want a good time!

The Netherlands has a population of 16.5 million. The U.S. has a population of 300 million. The struggles of daily life are more burdensome and apparent to the lower classes in the U.S. than in the Netherlands. There are significantly more poor people to drag hopeless individuals further into the dark holes surrounding them. Additionally, the prison system in the U.S. is a capitalistic venture rather than a rehabilitative one. Mixing petty drug dealers with aggressive degenerates in multi-million dollar prisons is not an end to a problem. It's the start of one. Did you know that almost all prison systems in the U.S. are run by publicly traded corporations? Growth for these businesses has to come from somewhere...

But I do agree with radical expression of religion being a stifling hinderance to personal progression, awareness and responsibility for ones actions. We have to remember that radical Madrasah's like those seen in northern Pakistan play a key role in maintaining civil order with the corrupt governments that finance them. The state is unable to provide and residents of the state are left with no choice but at some point in time to direct their anger at anything that can plausibly explain their dire circumstances. So the thinking goes that it is better for these angry individuals to be pointing outside than to be warring within.

I don't know the solution but I will say that giving life to hopeless individuals destined to fail is at the root of radical fundamentalism. Born at the wrong time, in the wrong place, without ever being given a proper chance because their governments cannot afford to sustain them.

Western nations and individuals understand the need to grow slowly untill the infrastructure is available to support their offspring. China knew it. Can you imagine how desperate the situation would be in China if everyone was allowed an unchecked number of offspring? Society would've collapsed under its unequal weight.

The most ridiculous example in reference to the problem of over-population in corrupt societies would be the problem facing Palestinians today. Their solution to reclaiming land that was not cultivated or modernized by them? To breed the Israelis out. A dysfunctional policy of such morbid stupidity that anyone of semi-intelligent rationale could only consider their impoverished situation deserved. And the children of yesterday will require strict religious guidelines from ever awakening to the problems surrounding them.

Because money wouldn't solve their problems.

Immediately building schools, technical institutions and colleges overnight would only serve to further exasperate their pressing problems of existential poverty and ever declincing status in modern life. Allowing unlimited prosperity too quickly would force the newly educated class to exploit every last crevice of the majority underclass, which in turn would force the underclass to revolt. Cambodia was a nightmare example of what happens when society tries to modernize itself too quickly before balancing its populace correctly with supportive infrastructure.

Growth but slow growth is the true solution if the government is capable of delivering. And corrupt governments are not capable of delivering. And the delusional majority classes are too blind to recognize the true source of their sorrows. And the wealthy western class is not welcome to offer solutions.

Forced religious restrictions is the only controlling solution for people who would otherwise have nothing to stop them from demanding true justice and explanations for harsh realities in their lives. Strict religious institutions bound them to god, whose institutions of reverance are built by the state, with the mediating goal of complaceny and faith in the ruling hierarchy of their society. The government.

It is necessary for them because if religious lines could be blurred, people might one day step across them and begin challenging the problems surrounding them.


As to why men jerk off and enjoy having sex, well, that has nothing to do with religion or Malaysia.

It doesn't help by the fact that the Arabs tend to marry their 1st cousins- the level of inbreeding in Arab societies is something shocking. One of my friends in Sydney is a psy and she complained that 1/4 of her patients are arabs who are totally schizo. Invariably their parents are inter-related.

I worked in Saudi for three months back in 1987- my arab colleagues were asking me whether I was married, when I said no, they were shocked, you are so old already! "Doesn't your family have cousins???" they said...

When I replied that in my culture- marrying cousins was not cool- they laughed - they thought it was great because they were all part of one big family.

I guess that's one big reason why the Arabs got beaten by the Israel in 5 major wars.
