Gel Nails

I checked out this new nail salon near my place at holland village, the rates turned out to be ok. While i was there.. the manicurist was asking me to try out GEL nail varnish. It was like $60 something.. to do my hands. She said it was non-chip. I rejected her and told her i'll go back next time to try. Has any one tried gel nail varnish before?? Is it any good? She even promise me it would last 2 to 3 weeks without any chipping. It sounds to good to be true.. but she showed me her nails and they really look good.. Can someone advise pls?

Hi MJ. Yes, I have tried the GEL nails and I have been using them since. What i like about it cus normal nail polish doesnt last me more than 3 days max cus i my nails will chip after that 3 days. This GEL thingy will last you, yes, its true, 2 - 3 weeks. It is more expensive than normal nail polish price but its worth it. Ok, think about it. Im the kind of person who likes to have their nails painted all the time. I do this GEL and will cost me about $60 and will last me 1 month. If i do normal, every 3 days I will need to do a touch up or repolish my nails...all this are cost and before you know it, you spend more. Yes my nails look really good with them too. My manicurist is fantastic. She does great work even when I put the GEL extensions on and they look so real its unbelievable! I had a friend who got married and used her services. Everyone at the wedding, and I really mean everyone, praises her beautiful nails and they didnt believe they were extensions cus they look so real. You can call her to try it out at 91541764.
