Hmmm.... Think it's all relative. Don't be upset. This 'relativity' is everywhere lah. Not just in SIA. Physical beauty has always been relative/subjective. Has been this way since ever. And it's not going to change any time soon. As far as education requirements go, well, I guess SIA can afford to be picky. Just look at the thousands and thousands of people who turn up at every walk-in interview they conduct. So, if the candidates are pretty as well as smart, well... All the better!

airlines don`t only want the look now, they want their flight attendents to have the intellectual part to it to. what`s the use of being a pretty face when you`re nothing up there, right? and they use educational qualifications to justify that. not saying that if you don`t meet their expectations, you are not intellecture or dumb.. just that they have to have something to gauge, right? :)

ya maybe what you said is right, but what ma frens said also right, cause she's been into the industry from the yr 1998 so she told me that the Singapore airlines gerls all when her batch are all preety and thats what the name of Singapore gerls are popular among of all other airlines. But now she said all like difficult to say especially those with the highest qualification when they get scoldng from the Senior they cant accept. As ma fren is the top three pple who likes to zap the new pple.... ya what she said is true... im here just wanna know more bout it. I just dont have the confident to join it, at the men time im takin ma A level first see how it goes....

if you really want it, you should be confident and don`t worry so much! you never know until you try, you know. :) they will take your highest qualification into account. you might wanna try out for 3rd mar, if they say you don`t meet the requirements, you can still go take your As. i mean, it`s never a bad thing to try, it`s a great experience. :) good luck and all the best! :D
