Lost at 8 years old and caught stealing food at 19 years old, quite amazing, how adaptable humans are!

Yes! Imagine 11 years without talking to another human, her mind must be totally blown away!

Hunch back, means she as really had to spend more time on all fours lokking for food, shocking and yet amazing, that an 8 year old could survive, the elements and diseases, along with all the other dangers of the jungle, leeches, snakes, and god knows what else.

There was also links from that page to other incidents of children getting lost, one in Brazil, was raised by monkeys and protected by them, which is quite incredible, that he can alco communicate with them today!

Here's one of a Japanese soldier found in 2005, he'd been lost since the war, although he wasn't aware the war had finished http://history1900s.about.com/od/worldw ... ersurr.htm

Amazing story. It's strange how she lost the power of speech though. Maybe that happens if you don't speak to anyone for long enough. Poor kid, I hope she manages to get her life back together and hasn't gone totally loopy (I can imagine that a jungle could easily send you loopy if you had to live on your own, unprotected in one).

Also amazing that there's enough jungle left to actually get lost in for that amount of time!
