On ** January 2007, please bring your Identity Card together with this letter when you report to Ms *** ** at the Multi-Purpose Room, Flight Ops Division, Level 4, Lobby C, SIA Training Centre (STC), 720 Upper Changi Road East, Singapore 486852 for an aptitude test at 8.45am and a briefing with me at 11.00am. This will be followed by the final interview cum tea-party at 2.00pm. Please note the dress code is long-sleeved shirt and tie.
I think they stated the dress code in the email dude? :???:

Why would anyone going for a pilot interview consider not wearing a tie? Why take the chance of creating a bad impression? If you turn up without a tie, it will be noted down in black and white on your interview report in the 'first impression' column. Yes, there actually is such a column. During the time when i was helping out in the recruit dept, no one who appeared without a tie got through the initial interview.

airlines look for dedication if you cant even wear a tie for job interview, you are waste of time for them.

White shirt, simple tie, hair cut, shine shoes, smart bag no back packs...u must look like an airline pilot to get the job.

You only get TWO chances for a 1st interview..So do your best..Make sure you read up on aircraft specs and stuff..Be informed and be prepared for the interview because you will expect the unexpected..There was a candidate who was asked on who is the President of NZ and India..Another was asked the difference between a Boeing 777-300 and the Beoing 777-200.Don't bullshit the interviewers if you don't know..Just tell them nicely that you don't know and you will find out..Arrogance will get you blacklisted too,so you don't wanna throw away that precious interview..

Does anyone know what the pshychomotor test is like??Is it like an IQ test?

Not exactly true, had a friend whom tried thrice and got in during the last attempt.

The 2.5hrs computerised test consists of many components, not just IQ. 8-)

Just goes to show, you don't know very much do you. Now you want to be a pilot? Snoopy on top of the dog house would probably take you out.
