Dear all,
I'll be relocated to Singapore soon and I'm curious whether or not it's possible to not only rent a room but actually share a flat with other people.
I imagine this to be a great and easy way to get to know new friends since I'll be totally new to the place.
Are there boards or agents that offer places that way?
Best regards,
Oliver.

Hi and welcome
It is possible and some agents can arrange a room in a flat for others for you or you can just check around when you get here.

Dear Bafana,
thank you.
Since I start working at MediaCorp's Channel News Asia (Caldecott Broadcast Centre, near Andrew Road) I wonder if you can recommend me areas close to the company.
Cheers,
olr.

East Coast - Possibly Geylang (nice and cheap and not to far from where you will be working) - Why don't you ask your new HR if they have any suggestions?
