Temporary Stay Requirements in Singapore

I intend to stay in Singapore from April through June and August through October this year.
I am relocating there to better support my customers in the Asia region.
I will be working for my current company, and NOT employed by Singapore company or earning money there.
I will be leasing a house or condo, and working from there.

This is just a temporary stay for me, which may result in openng up an office there and employing some locals in the future

What permits/visas do I need?
Do I just need a social visa or tourist visa?
