Can anyone teach me how to find investors who are willing to fork out capital for me to start a business? I will be able to fork out some money too but i need capital for two major equipments. Are there any places where i can find these angel investors?

Yes, these places are called banks. If you've got collateral, they'll give you loans.

what kind of collateral they need? i am just starting out on my own i have nothing to show them. do you think i stand a chance at getting a loan?

jp but banks aren't considered investors, that is considered capital, it's not the same, plus if you want any chance at seeing a government grant for starting a business you need 30 % singaporean investment, or at least that's what I have read, myself I am looking for investors as well and would like to find a site that helps, witht he angels that they list on the government website.

May i know what are the 2 equipment that you are looking at?

its a specialised equipment for cleaning purposes. Need to get it from the states. cost close to 50k.

have u tried cheaper alternatives like 2nd hand equipment or getting it cheaper like export from china or taiwan?
is your new company a startup? have it been profiting for last 2 years if its not?
