Global or Local brands? - Looking for expats interviewees

Post by Darius » Wed, 27 Dec 2006 11:16 am

Dear all,

I'm an undergraduate student at NUS Business School, currently working on my honors thesis project - a study on cosmopolitan experiences and opinions with global and local brands.

I'll be extremely delighted if you could share with me, through a formal interview session, your shopping and travel experiences across the globe or even in Singapore.

As a token of appreciation, drinks are on me! And most importantly, your identity and any information you provide, will be kept strictly confidential.

Do email me at [email protected] (despite the scramble of numbers, yes, its authentic!), so that we can arrange a day to meet up.

Meanwhile, here's two questions for starters:

Which one would you normally root for - global or local brands? Why?

how much time do you expect such an interview to take? 30 minutes? one hour? (or are you simply setting a drink limit, haha!)

and any location or time of day preferences?

The interview usually takes around an hour. No preference for place nor time. You call the shots. :)

But since I need to record and transcribe the interview (with your permission), it can't be too noisy.

Drinks limit? .. Well ... I'm a poor student. So do spare a little pity for me. Thank you!

Heres a tip - Why don't you open a Survey Website and give the link so you get more feedback.

BTW the only reason I have not deleted your post as spam is the NUS email address verifying your story in part. Normally this sort of request is not acceptable.
