Bad luck

At promotion period , i've just sign up XXX boaradbad n get YYY PC.... tot its quite worth cos can get one free of the branded PC and at the same time..can widenly my boardband speed.. but just only few day.. (within 7 days after get the pc and still keep the cotton box...).. one of the sofatware of the PC cant functional well... :mad:
try to call YYY service center and wat they saying is there no on-site service / one to one exchange even bought / get the pc within 7 days.. :???:
:x Just get new PC not more than 5 days and need to send it back to service center for repairing... Wah!!! its too fast ! Thats few days only!!!! some more is branded PC.....
:cry: wat the bad luck am i.... tot can use new PC at the long holidays...

Thats so bad expereiences....

jus curious... Its that true there's no one to one exchange or on-site service if the PC got problem within 7 days after bought??

I hope your new PC includes some remedial spelling and grammar software. :shock:

Anyway, service depends on what model, what brand and what support contract you have. Repairing modern PCs usually means replacing parts at random until it works again, so on-site service is difficult if not impossible -- even "pro" support services for eg. Dell and HP only mean, at best, that your PC is collected and returned to your office after X days.

Don't look so puzzled. Welcome to service centers singapore style. (Kinda like they repair cars as well. Eventually they might get the right part. :roll: But don't count on it!

Op, you should have signed up for maxonline's deal instead. My pc also had problems 6 days after delivery and the technician came out and replaced the hard drive within 24 hours after calling them.

Also, maxonline is somewhat less affected than singnet from the earthquake in Taiwan. My wife's workplace which uses singnet can't get online at the moment.
