In that case, make sure you are not tired when you do go out to meet people.
Its a lose lose situation if you don't meet people because you think they will be bored with you!

I think sometime I just felt the same way as you, I just do not want to see people around me. But I feel I need more friends and need a buddy to talk to. Never mind, everything we can learn, be the first one to make a move, things will get better!
curious about everything!

Hi jt03,
Don't worry too much about what others think & I'm sure you'll discover you're more interesting than you think you are!
Some of us are going out this Fri night. You're welcome to join us if you've got nothing planned.

Hey jt03,
If you don't mind me asking but are you an engineer of some sort? I thought I am the only one with few friends and I've observed also other engineers I've worked with also have a few friends too. Hmm....stigma man.
If you need someone to talk to, PM me ya?

to make friends, first you have to treat other people as friends, not other people treat you as a friend first.
