Hey guys! I discovered this new restaurant serving different kinds of Singaporean food and the restaurant is called Bugis Street Memoirs. The food was really cheap for restaurant standards!
I was doing my last minute x'mas shopping at Bugis Street when i stumbled upon this restaurant with outstanding red words on the outside. The restaurant was placed at the corner of Queen Street which is some sort of at the back of Bugis Street.I thought i should try some place new which served Singapore style food instead of just going to Hawker centers all the time.
The one word i can describe the restaurant is uniquely singaporean!!!haha...they have a really unique dish called the "Bentique set" and it's mouth-watering!This dish consists of several different types of Singaporean food, seperated into compartments, such as laksa, chicken rice, fried carrot cake, vadai, satay, burbur cha cha and a lemon grass drink. And i have to say that the set is huge for one person! It only costs $15!I thought it was worth every cent because i got to try all the different types of singaporean food on one plate!Amazing! And i love the mango pudding!!It's seriously the best mango pudding i've ever had!The chef apparently makes the pudding from scratch with fresh mangoes.
At the moment there's also a promotion going on which offers a Main course+dessert of the day+fruit juice for $6.50++!!!That really caught my eye when i saw the place. They have other authentic singapore dishes as well which are reasonably priced as well.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is new to Singapore food and want to experience authentic singaporean food all in one place.
