If you do the math, it adds up to about the same $1200(Basic)+$2300(Allowances) . From what I was told, this is the minimum.
No doubt the issue of monetary benefits are considered taboo but I believe those who are interested in this line would benefit from knowing the expected income they'll make, even more so for those coming from foreign countries as its quite a leap their taking.
