Hey, of course I do. Not many wore suit for the interview. Didn't manage to catch up with ya when you guys left first for the medical. So everything's alright?

No, Edmund didn't make it. I'm after him but I don't think we spoke much yesterday, ha.

Ah, ORD in March, pretty near my notice period. We might be in the same class if medical clears.

Hi M,
Have been following ur posts
Congrats...
I am going for the management interview on wed too ^^
Is there a high elimination rate?
How did u find the interview? was it tough?
What did u think they focus on?
v. nervous

hey, thanks.
2 out of 13 didn't make it so I thought today was good for the most of us. Actually today's interviewers were really friendly and they really made the difference. I was chatting with one of the HR staffs and she told me that the interviewers do make a difference because they tend to have different expectations and it really boil down to individual on how you perform.
The actual interview varies with individuals so there isn't any hard and fast rule on what you should know or shouldn't know. Just be yourself. They want to see the real you, be nice and humble. Answer them to your best abilities and try to stress more on service. I believe that will score some points. Try not to panic and be more engaging with them but of course, at your own discretion.
Do take note that while waiting for your turn in the waiting room, be active and interact with the rest of the girls. The HR staff present will feed back to the interviewers on your behaviour. *Highly classified*
Goodluck and hope to hear from you yeah?
M

Thanks so much!
Fingers crossed
Hopefully I'll have the good news tomorrow

Well we had to head to Shaw House for the medical and to Lucky Plaza for the XRAY. You have 2 days to choose from, the day itself or the day after. It would be better if you can apply for a full day leave because of the medical else you have to go for your medical the day after.

Hi tangerine
M is right. Be yourself and answer the questions to the best of your abilities. Try not to be nervous and remember to smile. Like what M said, do try to interact with the ladies in the same room as you. Like you, there are also probably nervous. Do watch your gestures too and yes the HR people do feedback to the interviewers about you, more like how you interact with others.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi M
Sadly neither. Went for SIA's recruitment on 7 Jan but got booted out at kebaya fitting. I have friends serving in the various airlines so that's why I do have some knowledge of this industry. I do go to them for advice pretty often :p

Thanks M
I will try again for the next recruitment. Right now need to lose some weight to fit into the tight kebayas. Big-chested gals seem to have disadvantage or maybe just that that round they wanted smaller-sized gals. I haf a friend who's bigger than me and she got through but that was years ago.
Not to worry, I won't give up so easily. Trying for JAL too.

Hey, that's the spirit. With your perseverance, I'm sure you will be there in the near future.
