I'm a newbie here but have lots of questions about Singapore. First and foremost concerns employment.
See, I may have the opportunity to take an expat assignment in Singapore. The job would be for about 3 years. But here is the catch: my wife makes excellent money in her current job, but would be willing to relocated to Singapore as long as the job prospects are good. And I mean prospects for corporate work, not waitressing, etc.
She currently works in pharmaceuticals and has lots of finance experience including Sarbanes-Oxley experience, which I would imagine most firms doing business with the US would have a need for.
What is required to work in Singapore? Gov't approvals? How is the job market?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.!
