Bodybuilding/Powerlifting gyms in Singapore!

Post by nick500 » Tue, 12 Dec 2006 10:44 pm

I'm coming to Singapore in a week's time. I want to train at a couple of serious gyms in the 10 days that I will be there, which gyms are serious?

Also, any serious (straight) powerlifters/bodybuilders wanna train up whilst i'm there, just let me know! I'm 5'9, 22 years old and 215lbs.

Heres me:

So as you can see i'm seriuosly into it ! :)

Please help me out guys/girls, ideally no entry >$30 per session.

Cheers,

Nick

I managed to get a week long pass to Planet Fitness.

Trained at caltex, great world city mall and suntec. I personally rate suntec as the best one.

Most gyms will give you a week's free trial if you're a Sing resident.
Vaguely heretical thoughts on travel technology at Gyrovague

However, they do a lot of Hard-selling everytime you attend the trial gym session.

Always Slash the price whenever the gym sales rep pitch you to close the deal.

Act disinterested while asking them to lower the membership. When you bargain and reach the mark of $55-$60 per month (inclusive of membership + admin charges), you know you are there =P

I got that price from Cali recently. And yes, if you have the DBS Black card and UOB platinum. Slash the price Further! They can bundle the 2 cards to get further discounts.

I got my 2 yr membership at Cali. Gold membership. at around $50 per month (everything inclusive). Great deal huh?
