Craving North Indian Food

I'm told that it's not possible to find North Indian food in the Jurong area. How can this be! Can some kind person please quash the myth and recommend a cheap and cheerful place to get some scrummy take-away. Thanks.

Sorry mate -- lived in Jurong for a few years and never did find any North Indian food worth recommending, although you can certainly get stringy tandoori chicken in most any hawker or food court.

Hmmmm...stringy tandoori. Sounds divine I couldn't find much to tempt me in the malls I've checked out (IMM, West Mall, Jurong Point, Jurong Entertainment). So my next question is: how far back into town will I have to go to satisfy my craving? I thought Indian food would be available island-wide.

There is one in JEC.. Not SUre if ur looking for a restaurant or food stall ?
Jec one is a kopi tiam type of joint.. called pangat... Samosa and vada paus in the evening are good .. With tea ofcourse.. . If ur going town .. Moghul mahal works for me.. wine and great ambience.. good for nice romatic dinner ... hehe
