Postby Shazers » Mon, 04 Dec 2006 10:46 pm

Hello Everyone,

Want to learn Arabic as my work involves dealing with businesses in the Middle East.

Anyone know where can I learn Arabic? Was thinkin more on conversational rather than written!

Thanks!

Hi Shazers,

I also am working with companies in the Middle East. In fact I am flying to Kuwait in a few days for work.

I assume you already know that English is the language of business over there as well? Even when working in the Middle East I never felt the need to become proficient speaking Arabic.

Anyway, sorry I don't know where to learn Arabic here in Singapore.

Good luck!

Arabic classes are normally associated with local mosques or madrasahs, i.e. Islam. In addition, the classes may be conducted in Malay, not English. When you call to enquire, specifically request for an Englsih speaking instructor.
