I guess you're quite lucky la compared to others :) From what I read in those threads, some didn't even get through the 1st interview  Others even had to wait for 6 months or more(correct me if I'm wrong) to get back to the interview le... But they didn't give up easily so I'm keeping this spirit & enthusiasm in check just in case I freak out in the middle of it...or everything.... :?

As for the experience in customer service, I don't know if my previous job as a waiter or bartender(current job, FYI) counts, or not....I guess there is a little bit of interlink between them and the real front desk job, huh?? From what I found out, you(I mean myself, of course...heh) have to BE yourself with a bit of pure luck & loads of confidence.... :D And I think you DID managed to be yourself, that's why you been getting this far...(hats off to ya)

Anyway, I don't know when I'll give this a try but I'm sure I'll DO it! I'll just have keep myself updated...I will...hehe  Thanks for sharing all this and GOOD LUCK on your next attempt!!!

Hello there!

Firstly, thanks so much for all the encouragement! It really helps coz there's always this doubt in me on whether i can make it on my next try. But as u say, we just gotta keep our spirit and enthusiasm in check. :) I'm sure with ur interest and passion for the job, u'll get it!

Ur working experience DEFINITELY HELPS A LOT! They are already typical customer service jobs...and that's what they are looking for. It's becoz u've already met all kinds of different ppl while working as a waiter and a bartender. Most importantly, u have encountered difficult ppl in ur course of duty...that's one point they emphasises a lot on. They want u to be prepared to face difficult passengers while on board a flight.

Well, let's just hope we'll both make it into SQ and be able to be colleagues one day. Haha! Go when u're ready ya! ALL THE BEST!!! :) :)

Hey...things are going alrite. Really stress at uni, this week is my mid-term break and i went down to singapore. Haha! Went to changi to take a look...man, i was REALLY impressed! Very nice airport...and i saw so many SQ crews! Smile

Ok, most likely i misinterpreted the meaning of it Embarassed So what does it really mean? Laughing

Seriously, i could feel the misery. The anxiousness is a killer! But i think u r gonna hear from them REAL SOON since some of them have already gotten their passes. Where's SIA KL branch btw? So, u've gotten ur accomodation and stuff ready? Or u'll wait for them to call first?
Guess what? I myself have yet to set foot in changi lolz..

Thread-hijacking simply means going off the thread topic. Don't worry bout it.

Thanks for keeping my hopes up, though i only expect to hear from them in about a months time coz of the cert delays. Anyway, the kl branch is in menara multi-purpose along Jalan Munshi Abdullah. Nah, i'll only sort things out once i get the confirmation and all but i kinda got it pre-planned in my head on how to go on about it :)

Btw, good luck in your exams.
