i plan to buy a computer in SG.

is it really cheaper than in Europe ?

I've recently had a mate over from Holland and on the whole he reckons there's not that much difference.
Depends on how tech savy you are and how much and where you would want support, if any.
I wouldn't buy one here to take back to Europe for example.

There's the occaisional great deal on LCDs for example and they normally come with a world wide warranty so an item like that should be fine.

No it isn't, you can get better deals in europe, if you buy online, and two year warranty
