The interview was overall easy though it was very nerve wrecking, i was shivering the whole time.. can anyone tell me how long aft the final interview before they tell you if you're successful and to do ur medical?

5 judges with a mixture of Jap and S'poreans, but only 1 lady conducted the interview in English.

Round 1:

Height and Weight measured. (my number: 85)

Self-introduction (mainly tell more abt yourself, job, y you want join JAL)
The lady will then ask you questions. My questions are as follows:-
1) Why you want to join JAL?
2) Have you tried for other airlines before?
3) Do I know that the training will also be conducted in Japan? And asked me more abt whether my family is ok with me overseas etc.
4) What do I know about the Jap culture?

After which, you are supposed to read a simple chinese passage. Believe me, its simple..hehe

Everyone was very nice and pleasant. Received a call around 6pm today from a lady that I was selected for 2nd round of interview. . . and mentioned that she will send me an email for next sunday interview.

Humphz...but now haven't received nehz...

btw, do you know how long after we will know if your final interview is successful? i'm going on a holiday on the 19th, sigh..wonder if it clashes with anything...

yea lah..i'm coming back on the 28th midnight.. i have to talk to them on the 16th when i see them again, hopefully they can work something out, i dun wanna be let go due to my holiday lor, i wun have fun..*sigh*...

I'm also having my braces now and will be off soon.Hopefully by this coming feb. Did mentioned in my application form that i will be available in end feb/beginning march. They never ask me anything yet. Me also troubled

I managed to get to e mgt round too... anyone knows its purely meet e mgt session or does it include skin chck? Pls advise.

last recruitment was conducted all in a day.. are u told to bring spaghetti top and shorts? if yes,that means a skin check will be conducted.. mine was after mgmt,straight changed and go for skin check..

I think I did badly in my chinese reading. Though I m selected for the next week final interview, I wonder my bad reading will affect my overall performance not. Or since I m already invited for the final interview, is tat mean my bad chinese reading is no longer a concern? Any idea?
