how many people will they eliminated the first round?
do they have quotar that they can only keep how many of us?
i hope they will let us know whether we are selected immediately.

Hey gals!

Actually the whole process is very simple.I'll let you have a step by step knowledge of what I went thru:

1)When I walked in,I was greeted by 2 ladies at a table.This is when you hand them your invitation and they will give you a sticker with a number.

2)You will proceed to take your height and weight by another 2 ladies.The lady taking your height is really really nice so for those worried about not being tall enough,she'll tell you to stretch and touch 1.58m.I'm actually only 1.57m but she made me touch 1.58m and she wrote it down as 1.58m.

3)You'll take a sit and it's 4 in a row.These 4 will be the ones going into the interview together.

4)There'll be 5 interviewers and what you have to do is self intro,what job are you currently doing and why you wanna join JAL.One by one la.The interviewer will ask you questions along the way.

5)Once everyone has done so,you'll be told to wait for a letter within the week if you have been shortlisted for the 2nd interview.

That's all la!Simple right?Hee....good luck to all those who have gone through the interviews today and to those having theirs tomorrow!:)

Hi gals.. I think JAL does shortlist all applications.. I did not receive any letter or calls from them.
Feeling low morale right now.

hi all, back from the interview. As mentioned by desijoey, yes the procedure is very simple & clear. The main thing abt this 1st interview is juz a brief self-intro, tat's all. Less than 5min of self-intro.. So make sure to make a realli good impression

Yup, they said they will send letter to those shortlisted for the 2nd interview.

Anyway, they have a stack of application forms on their desk.. I think ard 100 - 150 forms only. Thus we are really lucky to be selected for the 1st interview. Good luck to those attending the interview tml

omg! i'm super nervous! mine's tmr morning. they take height and weight in the 1st interview? omg. i ate alot during cny... sigh sigh.

i just weight myself. gained 2kg in a week. mygod.

hi there.. actually 2kg is not hard to lose and also not hard to gain haha.
just control your intake daily and take half or less of every portion you eat.

i also sent in my applicaton to JAL but didnt get shortlisted. its okie. we still have SIA to look forward to. the worst thing is to give up and feel defeated. we have to really trust GOD and go for it... go all the way!!!
