@ultimatevanilla hey, I submitted and also received the email for the first interview on 5 oct. Did you received it?

I am concerned about the remuneration, flight destinations and interview process. Can't seem to find much info about it. Anybody care to share? I wanna know exactly what I am going into before the final decision. Thanks!!

Hi metrominus,

I did not submit as I will be overseas on 5 Oct :( doubt that they have another date.

I did google and mooky PM me abt some info:

Total two rounds of interview. 5oct will be a grp interview like maybe 10 in a grp and basic self intro and why u wanna be a CC an a chinese passage reading etc. if you are shortlisted for 2nd/final interview, there will be a skin check which includes changing into a super short shorts/singlet (most prolly to check for tatoos/scars).

destinations wise: helsinki, newyork, jaan, KL and very rare times like Paris.

I am also curious about remuneration! hahaha maybe you an keep us postd? :D

GOOD LUCK ok and prepare yurself well.

@ultimatevanilla ahh.. I was supposed to be overseas too but managed to postpone it before it's too late. Alright so I should think tht the first interview is not so bad right? This way I won't be too nervous and ramble away. Haha. I'm actually more concern about the talking part than skin check part.

Okay. Destination looks alright. I should be motivated enough to attend the interview. You see, I live in the west and the traveling to changi is so boringly long.

@catherine0136 my interview is at 2.30. I would suggest we meet and provide some kind of support for each other if our timings weren't tht long apart :(
The email did not specify if we shld bring our certs. Are you bringing? I think since we already provide them in our application, there is no need to bring the original right? Anyways good luck on sat!!! Don't worry too much and be yourself. That's what I keep telling myself.

@metrominus Hello! apologies for the late reply! In the end, I didnt went for the interview as it clashes with my other plans.

Did you went for the interview? How was it?
Hope everything went well for you. Keep me updated, if possible! All the best for those who went! ^-^

LAST TIME SAYING IT, BELIEVE IT OR NOT. UP TO YOUR PERSONAL PREFERENCE.

Jal doesn't pay as much as what they promised you during the interview. (2.5k-2.8k? LOL?) NOTHING close to what the interviewer even mentioned. If you insist on trying, prepare your bond fee or else be prepared to suffer while you're BONDED to jal.

:girl: cheers

@jal123 were you from JAL/currently working there? please give some more insights as i've a friend who's going to sign the contract soon with JAL. thank you! SQ isnt that easy to get in compared to JAL due to the various rounds of stringent selections and v strict skin check :/

While I am not in JAL.. I met this lady who was previously from JAL at SQ's interview. Apparently she left the company before she started flying, complaining that the pay is too low while she was in training. No idea if she got through her interviews at SQ. Think about what happen if SQ were to find out she left JAL while in the midst of training. Do you think another airline would want to hire you when you can easily break the bond?

The form only requires an ID photo so I don't think that a full-length body shot is required. I like to know more about the current routes that Singapore-based cabin crews cover and the current pay. Are they still the same as the previously stated information?

Hi All,

I would like to ask if any one has information about the bond:

How long is the bond period?
And how much is the penalty fee if one doesn't fulfill the bond period?
Also, any idea what is the age limit? I'm in my late twenties but would like to try applying... just curious to see if anyone has info? Thank you :)

if i remember correctly the penalty fee was $10,000. just apply, if you make it through all the way to contract signing and you are not fine with certain conditions, you can always decline then.
