@ttfr if minor scars should be fine. definitely not as strict as sq over scars. during mine, the lady just glanced at my arms and shoulders. so @piglet21 should be fine coz they dont look at lower back.
icic. y did u turn it dwn mind if i ask? the remuneratn?
yup. was feeling kinda weird during the contract signing/briefing like can i actually survive with that amount n whether it would be worth it in the end.
so for those who passed, really think abt it!

what I would suggest is that, for those whom are about to join jal. there are many things you have to consider about. one of the biggest factor would be the destination. If you're looking to join this career to travel the world. JAL isn't the place for you. Next, the salary is also another big issue. The pay in jal is low (so low). Something you girls need to consider about.
last but not least, communication barrier with japanese crew would also be a problem for people without jap language foundation. although you will be taught jap but it wont be enough to communicate smoothly like how you would do in english. and if you think it's going to be easy. I would advise you to think twice.
Dont make the wrong decision and dread it later. Unless you have the $$$ to break the bond.

@ting: what did he tell you to make you think that?
For me I just have this gut feeling I guess. He didn't really talk to me much.
@jal123, are you currently flying with them? I've heard that yes it is difficult and some of the Japanese crew might snob you because you can't speak their language. But other than that I thought they were ok

lesser than 2. if you really have what it takes to be a cabin crew, I would advice you to go and try for sq instead. you'll be wasting your bond time here, well unless you feel that you want to treat this as a stepping stone for you to jump over to SQ... this place has too little to offer.

I'd check whether for the Japan job you could do it on a contract basis rather than a standard employment contract.
BTW well done on doing two jobs...
