Hey,

I'm very sorry to read about the above news :( Having made it through all the competitive rounds amidst many hopefuls, you all have already won the part about having the airline accept you as who you are, congrats nevertheless yah! Only a small fraction of all applications could get to where you all got to! However for the medical part, we all can't do re-do anything about the outcome. The devastation must be making you all very upset... but, remember that you have actually won a huge part of the battle, ok? :)

Actually, for the height measurement (kissangel) - do you have any medical documents that recorded your height and certified measured by an authorised healthcare personnel? Eg. from school or any check-up that had measured your height before. 158.5cm and 157 are quite noticeably different...would you wanna try submitting any documents you have, to erm, "appeal" your case? Personally i don't know of anyone who has done this before though. Just my thoughts...

I went for my medical today and i think i'll definitely fail..

the doctor said my spine was slanted and all airlines will fail me for my slanted spine. as such, i am not going to try anymore interviews for any airlines anymore. =(

anyway, i heard frm the nurse frm raffles place's clinic that majoirty of the interviewees failed the medical due to slanted spine. *so sad*

for your information
hearing test is easy.
medical check is very detailed.
the doctor will flip your dress w/o informing you and she's damn firece!
all you have to worry is yer spine, which you cannot control~

I saw from some previous post talking about the salary wise. I see it rather low as compared to SIA. Even senior staff only earn 2-3k? The basic pay dont increase as u get promoted?
The last time I read on this forum, there is no promotion for sin-based crew, if I'm not wrong. Can any current crew confirm on this? :)

Its true. Sin crew only become "senior" after a few years, but you won't get promoted (unless things have changed since my time)

I've accepted tat i fail. My friend told me when girl age, they will grow abit shorter, which I do no know. I'm down becos when i went for interview i pass the measurement test for 2 round and fail at the clinic. Fail jus for the height lo...... and I really feel that the clinic lady is not friendly... I was standing there to wait for her each time.. I do not know i should sit down and wait or wat... My friend joke saying that i owe her... haha anyway is jus a joke... i might be too sensitive also.. Should not have say so much in the forum... heheheheheeee........nvm liao... I have to accept.

human only grow shorter around old age.. like 50^...
