Training has been quite intensive... that is why there are no replies to this thread these 2 weeks... We had been learning airport codes, city codes, special codes of passenger on board the plane & japanese language.. Japanese language is tough, needs constant practicing.. we also have quiz everyday... these 2 weeks are all japanese classes & after that will be lessons on aircraft types and their safety & emergency theory before we proceed to Tokyo for our 6 weeks training... Very tough but fun... Really must salute the seniors that had gone thru these in the past... It's real intensive training... Guess we'll be proud after we "checked out" the training.. Gambatte kudasai!!!

Sorry, if this question is very abrupt.
For the medical checkup, someone mentioned that the doctor check your whole body. He actually check your private parts too? I mean your breasts and down there. Isnt that very embarassing if the doctor is a male????
Sorry if I sound stupid cos except the medical checkups we had during school days, I never go for medical checkup myself before. Thanks for anyone who is willing to answer. ^^

They only check your breast and other parts of your body eg. eye sight, hearing etc. They will not check "down there". So relax!

Thank you for answering my question, thats very kind of you!
For the breasts right, why do they need to check? For lumps? Or they just take a look only? Cos I dont understand why they need to check the parts where it will be cover by clothes and dont affect your job ability.
Thank you!

Thank you.
May I know how often does JAL have their recruitment? So far it has held during Feb 2007, Dec 2007 and May 2008, am I right? Will a recruitment coming up in August (because SIA and Silkair are having their recruitment in Aug) or is this very not possible for JAL? So, the highest possibility for their next intake should be Nov (because by then it will be 6 mths apart from May)?
Anyone who can answer this is very much appreciated. Thank you.
I dont need a confirm answer, just want to hear some opinions.

u are soon to be saluted as well...training is the best part among all the stuff, its when u bond new relationships and go through tears and joys. but after all the training and hanging out, u will face a new phase which requires more from u at work.. so be prepared..
be optimistic but realistic...

Looks like no one has an answer.
We will very much appreciate anyone who could give us an idea (roughly) of when is the next intake recruitment?
Thank you.

I don’t think they will have anymore recruitment this year.. Most likely the next one will be in Feb to May 09… =)

I'd check whether for the Japan job you could do it on a contract basis rather than a standard employment contract.
