I think when you're under OJT, please go have fun with ur buddy. Seniors may or may not go out with you. when you have ur fren with you, go places to explore so that when u start to travel alone, you know how to go and stuff.jalcctb wrote:Do you go out with your team mates or you go to places alone?
Cos the team members might be all different people for every flight.
i'm actually thinking of studying at the same time fly. i know one senior who does that. it can be done but sometimes you may have to sacrifice your lessons to take flights because if you cancel ur flight or postpone it, you will either not have a flight or u may not get back the same flight (meaning from a US flight become KIX flight) you know.. = earning lesser.snowss wrote:wahaha...so do u think I'll be able to do part time studies while flying with JAL??
If cannot, then I'll have to consider loh ..
Hi there.patterious wrote:Maybe i can contribute alittle to the hotel information in SFO and Osaka.
In SFO, the hotel that crews staying is near fisherman's wharf where is one of the tourist attraction. You can take the boat to Alcatraz Island and Golden gate bridge. Just outside the hotel there is a bus stop where u can take the bus to the town area. Is ard 25 mins and cost ard USD1.50. The bus will take you to the chinatown too. Nearby the hotel there is fast food call "in-n-out burger" which is the first drive thru fast food in USA. MUST TRY!
In Osaka, the crews is staying in a hotel called nikko. It is walking distance to the airport itself. You can take a bus or train to the Rinku Town where is a factory outlets or you can take a bus to the Aeon Jusco which is a shopping mall. Both cost ard 200 yen ($3). There is nothing much you can do in Osaka as the stay is pretty short.
That's all! Enjoy!
I can't really tell you how much we're earning. But what i HEARD.. it's roughly that much.Ferrin wrote:Hi rreygianan,
So its serious that JAL crew are getting 1.6k/month???
Oh no that's rather disappointing to hear. granted that most of us here were dying to get the job, practically speaking the salary is still a considerably important factor. maybe it was a blessing in disguise that i didn't get selected afterall haha (trying to comfort myself here ).rreygianan wrote:If its money you girls are looking for, trust me, JAL is not for you.Ferrin wrote:Hi rreygianan,

Thanks for your feedback... The seniors wouldn't wanna go out with us? Are they that unfriendly? Do you have to always travel alone?rreygianan wrote:I think when you're under OJT, please go have fun with ur buddy. Hmm.. some seniors have already went to the places you wanna go. so sometimes they rather jus rest in the room. there are seniors that are nice. it all depends on you because if u have some kind of attitude den you'll get from them but if you're nice, sincere, smiling.. they'll be nice to you too. =)jalcctb wrote:Thanks for your feedback...
