You do not need to learn japanese as you will be taught after you have been selected. Mostly are those sentense you will need in e cabin.Training will be given in SG and in Japan. After you fly for about a few mths, they will sent you to classes too..
Of course, if you want to learn & more and give better service & understand more, the co. are most delighted to know that you have japanese course =)

Hi All, Gd news! The JAL website is updated with the upcoming interview dates....Go and send in ur application now. Form must b printed from the website - http://www.sg.jal.com/en/others/recruitment/

Closing date: 16th May 2008.

2. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified through e-mail by 21st May 2008.
1st Interview on 25th May 2008.

3. Those without e-mail address will be notified by post.

4. Interview will be held at Cabin Crew office at Changi Airport, 4th Storey,unit 041-16, Passenger Terminal 1, Singapore Changi Airport.

5. Please send Completed application form with the following attachments;

a. One full length 4R size photograph and one passport size photograph.
b. Photostat copy of Birth Certificate.
c. Photostat copy of Educational Certificates(including 'O' level).
d. Testimonials or reference letters, if any.

Its Not less than 2k! its 2k plus after CPF usually. If you fly to the states, it will be about a week for the whole flight pattern.

I have scars too. scars from handling animals. They are only obvious when you look closely.
I didn't get into the finalo round at first, but then loast minute they called me and told me I still have a chance.
Yup.. in Tokyo training now.
