Hi! What is the route i should take to become a teacher?

Hi, I'm currently a Poly studen in IT cause going to graguate next year. I will like to apply to become a teacher but i not sure what is the critiral i do .. can anybody help out with my first step? btw i have go to see the NIE website but the website is not very understanding... :???:

i've seen career guidance books selling at popular bookstore.. u may want to check it out..

Isn't there an education department at the poly that can give you advice on the direction you need to follow? I'd check there first, before I fork out money for a book.
