New ER International School

Post by silverfern » Wed, 22 Nov 2006 5:16 pm

Has anybody enrolled or considering enrolling their child/children into the new ER school?

We have recently arrived in Singapore and due to limited spaces available in other International Schools for our Year 6 we are considering the new school. The fees are reasonable and facilities will be good when completed however not knowing the roll size is of a major concern. For him to make new friends in Singapore it is important he is able to mix well at school, specially in his age group.

I'd be interested in other opinions, impressions and comments.

When you mention fees are reasonable, what are they? I've been looking at $18-23K SGD/year in the other schools for our 4.5 year old. The 2.5 year old a few KUSD less, but still quite a lot.

??

That's for children up to the age of 7, correct? Think I recall that in Singapore, children start school at 7.

As with the above, do they start school during the year they will be 7 - or - will they start school the year after they're 7? Our daughter is born in August 2002.. and our son September '06.

;-)

Lots of stuff to plan, that's for sure! :)

Hi

Do these figures include GST?
Is there any other fee payable such as building development fund etc?
How much is the application/enrolment fee?

Thanks
