travel from east coast to Bras Brasah Road

Post by a man called hors » Tue, 21 Nov 2006 11:48 pm

Hi,

I am thinking about settling in East Coast near Tanah Merah MRT. What are the travel options and times for getting from here to Plaza by The Park, Bras Basah Road?

Thanks

Cheapest and fastest way is by MRT. Tanah Merah Station to City Hall Station is within 20mins.

Change to north-bound train at City Hall Station (just across the same platform). Alight at Dhoby Ghaut Station (which is just one station away from City Hall) .. All in all, MRT ride from Tanah Merah to Dhoby Ghaut should be within half an hour.

Plaza By the Park is about a 10-min walk from Dhoby Ghaut Station.

Alternatively, you can choose to walk to Plaza By the Park from City Hall MRT Station. Its a slightly longer walk.

Also, that change of trains at City Hall is very easy as you don't really need to walk anywhere inside the MRT station, just from one side of the platform to the other.

Thanks. Looks like I'll be cutting my commute as well as moving to a truly cool place!
