Hair rebonding

Post by Lotte2006 » Mon, 20 Nov 2006 5:59 pm

Hello!

So I've decided to rebond my long hair (soft rebonding), and just have a few questions that I hope someone out there can help me with:

1) Where to go?
2) What are the costs?
3) Is it true that you can't do a ponytale for two months after having your hair rebonded?

Thank you for your help!!

Hair Rebonding

Post by lplagnol » Fri, 22 Dec 2006 11:31 am

Lotte 2006,

I had rebonding done to shoulder-length hair. My hair is naturally wavy and the frizz caused by the humidity was uncontrollable.

1. Where to go? I went to Jiwon Hair Salon at Wheelock Place. Sharon Wu is the Senior stylist that took care of me. She used a L'Oreal product called X-tenso. Since I did not want pin-straight hair, she did not apply the product to the ends of the hair to achieve a more "natural" look.

2. What is the cost? I paid S$270. From what I have been reading in other chat rooms, it seems that is the high-end of the range. However, in my experience, it was worth every penny.

3. Can't do ponny tail? After I had it done, they did recommend not to do a ponny tail "too" tightly. So I waited two days to put my hair up. So far no problems.

Hope it helps

I did the L'oreal rebonding too in October to my shoulder length hair n i paid S$216 (after discount - due to long time loyalty)....out of which S$50 was for the treatment that they used for my rebonding. its very natural, soft n shiny \:D/

I go to Salon Esprit at Esprit (Vivo city), Tel:6376-9578 (think you can use your esprit card for discount too, not sure though but no harm calling to check price before heading down)

My stylist is Wesley. He is FANTASTIC. He has been taking good care of my hair for years......esp when i either color or rebond my hair once every few mths :P
Some people are alive cos its illegal to kill ;)
