buses in bukit timah

I am considering taking an apartment on bukit timah road. Do the buses acctually stick to a schedule and turn up on time or are you left waiting a while sometimes until one shows up? Also in rush hour how busy do they get? Thanks

bus no 5, 970, 174,77 i think the bus ride is abt 15 - 20 min depends on the route pls note the direction ..
