Post by smerlion » Wed, 15 Nov 2006 3:36 pm

My wife and I will be moving to Singapore in late December.

Is anyone able to recommend a removal/freight company that they have used and have found to be trustworthy and efficient?

Is it also possible for find Sunpat Peanut Butter in Singapore - my wife adores it!

Hi,

When my wife and I moved from the Uk a couple of months ago the shipping was handled by Sterling in the Uk and then by SantaFe in Singapore. Service was excellent in both locations and I can highly recommend them.

Not sure about the peanut butter I'm afraid, the wife's more of a marmite lover.

The local supermarket has lots of nice food and when you get here you can always go to Jason's (MarketPlace) in the basement of Raffles City as they seem to sell a lot of food which is geared towards expats although not everything.

Cheers

We used INTERDEAN and they were fantastic.

As for peanut butter, try and wean her on to seafood fried rice, delicious.

We moved a few days ago and having a fab time already.

My wife's expecting and we need to find a hospital as soon as we land towards the end of December. Any suggestions?

And also is the Tanglin Club better than the British Club?

Hi There,
I relocated in July using Santa Fe as well, they were good.
I would also recommend KC Dat with whom we moved to London, they were equally great!

Did you use Sante Fe from Europe?
