Apartment Suggestion for a Single Lady

Post by trufflehk » Mon, 13 Nov 2006 10:20 pm

I am moving to Singapore in mid Feb 2007 from HK. I will have my preview trip in mid Dec 2006. Is it too early to look for apartment? If yes, when is the right time to start? As I will bring my 2 cats there, I do really want to move to a condo immediately after I arrive Singapore.

I want the apartment to be well-furnished, safe to live in, allow to have pets, 3 bedrooms preferred, walking distance to MRT (I will be working in Tampines), have good dining places nearby and as new as possible. My budget is around S$3000.

I have selected the below options from surfing this website, your comments will be highly appreciated. :)
1) Bishan Loft in district 20
2) Amaninda in district 11
3) Savannah Condo Park in district 18
4) The Waterina in district 14
5) Changi Rise in district 17
6) Country Park in district 16

I believe it is a bit too early to look for an apartment since you are only coming in Feb 2007. Most owners would not wait that long and keep the apartment empty.

Your selection is too wide in terms of locality. If you are working in Tampines. You should explore Tampines,Simei,Pasir Ris and Bedok.

Are you looking at small or big project? small meaning, less than 100 units in the condo. Big meaning 200 to 300 units.

I am not an housing agent. But I will be gald to give you some advise as I am staying around that area.
