My Computer Gets Attacks from the Same Person.

Post by looking888 » Sun, 12 Nov 2006 12:46 pm

Hi, I am John from Toronto, Canada. My computer recently gets attacks from the same person/site. It has been going on for three weeks. The person usually attacks on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My Norton software managed to block this person's attacks.

My Norton software mentions the following information about the attacker:
Intruder: 204.16.208.135 (13364)
Instrusion: Portscan
Protocol: UDP

What should I do with these attacks? Can I know the attacker?

Thank for those who are willing to help.

JW

It is probably harmless, you can get the program Blackice, it will identify the attacker. Many search engine robots are scanning ports.

It's a little unusual, the IP address belongs to http://www.fastcolocation.net/ so I'd consider making a report to http://www.fastcolocation.net/abuse/
