Ladies, How do you find the designs and pricing of the Bra/lingerie locally?

Can't buy as I don't like underwire and all that padding. As a larger bust woman, the last thing I need is padding. Haven't seen my size here either.

Hi Matney, Then which brand do you buy? By the way, why do you dislike underwire?

Estelle, if you are thinking of setting up a lingerie business, bring in nice non-padded bras in a wide range of sizes and you could sell to most of the expat community, I'm sure! It's a recurring theme on this and other message boards that we can't get them.

I usually end up with the least padded pre-formed T-shirt bras from Marks and Spencer, but then I'm not big-busted.

I have never worn an underwire which didn't dig into me or was comfortable. You'll make a fortune, if you start a shop just for expats, with non padded, with or without wire, and large sizes, like seasider says and I agree.

I live on the East Coast and get all my lingerie from a little shop in Parkway Parade. They are really helpful and have alot of the (top end) brands. I also like La Senza at Paragon

I do agree that the local lingerie industry is plain boring in the past, but the quick expansion of lingerie boutique stores like Blush and La Senza has got this whole industry buzzling again.

But still, price is a factor. And the local stores usually only carry A, B and C. You can't really find anything bigger than that!

I have just started my lingerie business, and I will be having a lingerie fair in Sexpo 2006 at Suntec City on Nov 24 - 26. Will be carrying wide range of sizes and also light padded ones.

See you there

lingerie and straps

Post by 9133 » Tue, 21 Nov 2006 5:21 pm

Ladies

Are we talking about brands like Victoria Secret and all ?

I think there are some online shops selling if I am not wrong.

I am exploring selling lingerie bra straps in Singapore, both to locals and expats. Those with laces, colourful designs and materials.

Any comments on its demand ?

Thanks
