Additionally type the following into google: { "SEO" OR "Search Engine Optimization" }
Then do a lot of reading. There is no short answer so therefore I won't even begin to attempt to try. Thoughts are changing all the time so therefore it difficult to keep up unless that is your business.

Online markting is quite specialised, and is not anything you can just do.luvshoppy wrote:I had just set up an online business and is there any ways I can do to attract people attention and how am i going to attract companies to be interested in advertising in my website? Although it does help to chose your domain name very carefully, which will represent your product or service rather than your name, or Company.
Simple reason is surfers search out by products and services, becuase many companies have never been heard of.
Setting the correct Meta Tags inside the header of the website is very important, 9 out of 10 fail to do this, believe by throwing up a website, they will be seen.
Each search engine have specific listing criteria for websites, some you have to pay listing fees to, but in general you would have to wait several weeks or months to be listed in the free service.
When building a website, always think of it from a surfers point of view, how easy it is to read, the colour scheme, and description on the home page, the first paragraph being relative, these words should be copied to the description meta tag, in the header source code.
To view source code, go into view on the explorer menu bar, and chose source to view the header of websites, visit other websites providing the same service and check their source code, to make sure you don't forget anything.
Learning from scratch is worth while, buy the idiots guide. online marketing for dummies, it will take a year or longer before you master the art, I did it myself for a good 12 hrs a day, before i was able to brand a product successfully, It can be frustrating at times, but never give up, it is a skill worth its weight in gold.
Take courses if available, maybe sping do them, but don't pay to much, people will exploit you for the knowledge, so you must look at the pro's and con's when it comes to price.

this article might give you some insight. The only thing that will do is succeed in getting his account locked and post deleted as advertising your own businesses or blogs are not allowed in the forum threads. You can, however use this sites classifieds section to advertise for free.sgqxyw2006 wrote:you at least paste your web site here.
