bringing electronics to singapore

Post by ridney » Wed, 01 Nov 2006 10:24 pm

hi, i am trying to send my old cisco routers (2500s specifically) here in singapore for my studies. my friend will be arriving here next week and will personally carry these devices together with his luggages. do you think the customs would tax those devices upon entry here in singapore? if yes, do you have any idea of what the cost would be? please note that i don't have the receipt for these equipments as i have bought them from ebay a while ago.

i just wanted to know if its feasible and reasonable to bring those equipments here

thanks in advance,

ridney

Highly unlikely that anything will happen unless you are bringing in dozens of them.
