Visa confusion..

Post by Maestro_Rob » Tue, 31 Oct 2006 1:06 pm

Ok, I get a little bit confused by all the information I got about visa.

1.) If I enter by airways I can stay 30 days.
2.) If I enter via land I can stay 14 days.

So, on entering I get a Vist/Visa stuff.

Ok, if I stay 4 weeks in Singapore then leave for 1 week and come back how long can I stay then?

I mean do I need to get something special if stay more then 30 days in a year, or more then 30 days in one row?

Any help welcome...

I was in and out of Singapore several times in 2004 and was granted 30 days each time, although you should check with immigration as they could have changed their policies.

I don't think you will be allowed to unless you have a valid reason or are student of some description.

Unless you were living here, why on earth would you want more than a couple of weeks? You can see the whole island in 3 days of hard sightseeing. If you are living here then you need to find a legal method to stay here. LTSVP (maybe if your girlfriend/boyfriend is working here?)

If you are going out of the country for a week at a time by air you might not have a problem, it's the weekend trips or day trips that trip you up (pun intended). Might be worth investing a dime in a call to ICA.
