Fulltime employed want to start a Biz

Post by gl171 » Tue, 31 Oct 2006 9:39 am

Does anyone know if a Full-time employed (SPR) can register/own a Business in Singapore? Will there be any complication or legal matter involved?

Thinking of starting a simple home-based trading biz.

Any advice/comments appreciated.

No problem. I've been both for some time and a SPR as well.

Make sure you check with your company HR as well, in case there is a conflict in interest in what you are doing with your full time job.

tread carefully...especially if your products are of conflicting nature with your company's and also your own business does not interfere with what your day job is paying you to do (that is ...don't use company's time)
