Anyone interested in Boracay

Post by perplex_sheep » Fri, 27 Oct 2006 4:29 pm

Anyone interested in going to Boracay Early Dec? I am thinking of going between Dec 5 / 6 - 10 (5 to 6 days). I also plan to learn Kite Surfing there (2 days or 4 days course) and do a bit of diving if the weather is good.

Some basic information that I have obtained:
Route:
1) Fly to Manila: Between $200 (via Tigersairway) to $500 (via SQ) and about 2 hours flight
> I am OK flying whichever airlines, not fussed.
2) From Manila, fly to Caticlan: About $200 and about 1 hour flight
3) Boat transfer to Boracay: Depending on hotel, can be free transfer. About 30 mins.

I prefer to go with individual/groups who are into water sports and enjoy having a drink or two.

I am not very keen to stay in back-packers lodge but I dont need to stay in a 5 star resorts either. As long as its a decent hotel (with clean sheets) and near the beach, I am cool. I dont mind doing the researching, etc as well.

Any takers?
