Mum & (Very Energetic) Baby Looking for Playgroup

My husband and I moved here from the US 6 months back with a (then) 6 week old. He is now almost 8 months. I work part-time and would love to start or join a playgroup with other mums of babies around the same age. We live in the East Coast, but I'm happy to trek to town or elsewhere. Looked at the East coast playgroup, but all meetings seem to be on Thursdays and I work on that day. Anyone interested or any suggestions for existing playgroups that might suit?

Can't do the private message yet. I'm singaporean 33yrs. My husband's American. Am a stay at home mom. Im easy either way to form one or join one, we can meet if you like. I joined my friend's playgroup once but the children were all much older than Jack so not very fun for him.

I have another friend who has a 5mth old baby, I think she would be keen to be part of a playgroup too.
