Pretty sad selection of programming,.... but better than nothing.

I certainly wouldn't pay $$ for them after the promo period is over.

hi Bafana,

The channels that were switched on as free/promo (as far as I can tell) were the following:

31: TVRI
36: Boomerang
65: Turner Classic Movies
69: Asian Food Channel
70: Discovery Home and Health
71: Discovery Science
72: Discovery Real Time
73: A1
74: Eurosportnews
75: Fox News Channel
76: BBC entertainment
77: National Geographic Wild
80: E! Entertainment
81: Soundtrack Channel
82: MGM
83: Zone Reality
84: Animax
85: Channel V international
86: Foxcrime
92: Sky News

Not sure which of the above are meant to be a part of the package, and which have been accidently turned on (which seems to happen quite a bit in my area.. getting channels I never ordered or get billed for)

I also seem to have the following switched on (accidently?)
96: Australia Network
100: KBS World

The promo channels are only visible during the promo period between 13th october to 26th october & if you subscribe now, you get 50% off over next 3 months.

Nice - Will just have to wait and see which ones are included in which package.

BTW my box has just decided to die - Nice one.

Actually, these are specifically the ones under that package grouping:

Anything else I've mentioned that doesn't appear on that list must be one of those phantom channels I didn't ask for, nor am intending to pay for once starhub rectify it.

Any plans on getting one of those recordable set-top boxes? Do let me know if you do and whether they're any good.
