Sharing Maids

Post by dbenne22 » Mon, 16 Oct 2006 9:13 am

My wife and I are moving to Singapore in November and one of the attractions is getting some domestic help / babysitting for our 7 month old son.

My wife is not at all keen on a maid living with us, so we were wondering: is it possible to share a maid with another couple in the complex we live in ? Is there any issue with the maid's visa etc ? Is this common practice ?

Sharing maid is ILLEGAL.

What you can do is find a part time maid.
