Internet access plan with monthly termination

Post by Flush » Mon, 16 Oct 2006 12:07 am

I am currently looking for a broadband internet access plan (in Singapore). However there seems no provider available that has plans with a contract of less than 6 months. I have found the following:
  • Pacific Internet: 12 months contract with a termination fee of 40$ and another termination fee prior to the contract end
SingTel: 24 months contract with another surcharge
Starhub: Generally a termination charge of 32$ when contracting less than 6 months
My questions:
1. Are there other internet access services providers that are reliable and provide broadband internet access (e.g. via (A)DSL)?
2. Have I overlooked other plans that do not require such long subscription perios?

Thanks a lot for helping out...

I think you might have missed these:

1) Singnet Jetpack has 3 months subscription base
2) Starhub Flexisurf are not tied - pay-as-you-use type of service.

read about them in their respective websites!
