COE

Post by spirou » Sat, 14 Oct 2006 3:30 pm

I am currently holding a employement pass. I am thinking getting myself a motorbike and then take it home to Europe after one year or so. Just wanted to check if someone knows about COE. If I pay now 1000 for the COE, what happens when I move back. Can I get the money back after one year? Or will I lose it? What is the procedure? Thanks for your kind help.

The COE is tied to your vehicle and basically becomes a part of the price. You're allowed to sell the vehicle three months after buying it, and the COE goes to the next owner. Refunds are not possible.
