Donation boxes .. and everybody is in Christmas mood - even customs, immigration ..so much so, last year the Customs and Immigrations officers were banned from greeting passengers, in case they mistake it as a request for 'donation' ;)
Well, if you ain't getting wet in Boracay, you ain't in Boracay indeed. :P
Speechless :D :D I will keep that aside for now ;)

For argument sake Why would you go horse riding in Manila again ?? :)

And not just in Philippines, in any country you are a tourist, you should do a bit of home work on what to do and what not to do .. right ?

i know its an old thread but i can't resist posting this info for tourists. if you are going to Manila, there are still interesting places there if you take the time to look.
this particular person is giving walking tours http://celdrantours.blogspot.sg/ his tour is quite interesting.

also you can visit the old churches in Manila, there is San Sebastian Church-the only all steel church in Asia.

yesterday was driven past Quiapo Church and man, was it a big mess there .. I guess maybe a thousand people were waiting outside the church ..
yes, it was a Sunday, and same for the St Luis Church and the Baguio Cathedral, on Sundays .. the church was packed to the rafters and still more were milling outside for the next service ..

note to self - avoid any church on Sundays, unless you are going there for prayers .. :)
