Does anyone know what costs are incurred having a baby in Singapore, both with or without top health cover?
Thanks

Currently somewhere in the neighbourhood of $350,000-500,000 through university. Sure you want to have one? Birthing one is cheap (less than 2K if you are Singaporean), taking care of it is another story altogether.........

I'm hearing between 6-12k for mount elizabeth or glen eagles. It all depends on how natural the birth is if you have a c-section is it an emergency etc, etc. Do you want to stay in a private room share with others etc, etc! I'm thinking 12k worst case at the moment, my wife is due in December!

I found buying a couple of the local baby magazines gave me heaps of info in regards to popular birthing places etc...I then logged online and checked out their websites for further details and rates.
Check out '.' - its really helpful forum with local mums (and dads

) as well as expats willing to give helpful advice.....very helpful!!! (just google it).
