Volunteer work

Post by spaul » Sun, 08 Oct 2006 11:58 am

Hi All,

My wife and I will be moving to SG in December. My wife is Japanese and doesn't speak perfect English. She will be pretty much a housewife but it is looking to do something with her spare time. Can anyone suggest some sapre time volunteer work like childcare places for Japanese kids etc? I would like to like something up for her as she really doesn't need the money but something to fight the boredom. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is a large and very active Japanese community in Singapore. Check out お役立ちウェブ, which is the Japanese version of Singapore Expats:

The Japanese Association might be useful.
